Symptoms
When trying to edit a process list in the orchestrator, for any users who are not part of the scheduler-administrator / cloud-administrator, the Global Privilege 'ChangeOwner' is required to Edit the Process List.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Orchestrator with user, who are not part of the scheduler-administrator role and do not have Global Privilege 'ChangeOwner'
- Edit the ProcessList
- When trying to save the changes, it will error out with the following message:
Caused by: com.redwood.scheduler.apiint.exception.RequiredGlobalPrivilegeMissingException: JCS-103047: Global Privilege 'ChangeOwner' is required for user '[USER]@[DOMAIN.COM]' to perform this operation.
Workaround
A workaround would be to assign the 'Change Owner' global privilege to the roles or users who need to modify the Orchestrator.
- Navigate to Security > Roles
- Add the 'Change Owner' privilege under global privileges.
