Create Structure /JCS/ACC_DOCUMENT to avoid issues with customer BADI implementations

Symptoms

In RunMyFinance, a Journal BADI is implemented with the KEY /JCS/ACC_DOCUMENT. This key does not have to exis; it is only an identifier for our entries, as there can be multiple BADI implementations.

Customer BADI implementations expect that this key is a dictionary structure and try to read it. This will fail with the following error messages:

com.redwood.scheduler.api.connector.sap.rfc.scripting.RfcException: Exception: 104: CREATE DATA: The specified type (/JCS/ACC_DOCUMENT) is not a valid data type.

Workaround

Currently there is no workaround available.

RunMyFinance 2024.3.X or earlier

Resolution

This issue will be fixed in RunMyFinance 2025.1.0.0 with SAP AddOns SP 10
