Description
When you promote/import a car file into an environment, objects may not be the same as in the source system (Queues, Process Servers, Events, Time Windows, etc.
Import Rules in an Import Rule Set can change these during the import.
Observed Behavior: Time Window and Queue Scheduling Parameters on a Chain Call are not replaced.
Expected Behavior: Time Window and Queue Scheduling Parameters are updated according to the Import Rules.
Cause
An update has been made in RMJ version 9.2.6.0 that replaces expressions for References to the actual Object in the Chain Call Scheduling Parameters. This improves the product in various ways.
Unfortunately, the Import/Promotion process concerning the Import Rule Set was not updated causing the Observed Behavior.
Workaround
A workaround exists, but it is not optimal. There may be corner cases where a replacement still fails.
To use this workaround, add an Import Action to your Action Rule. This Import Action will replace the mentioned Import Rules as a Reference, resulting in a correct replacement.
Note: An Example Import Rule Set has been attached to this KBA.
Affected versions
All versions that have been released since 9.2.6.0.
Resolution
This will be fixed in a future version.
