Background
Upon login following message is shown: "The processes table is either large, or growing quickly, and the system has detected that relatively few definitions have a defined retention policy. This warning will be shown on each login, until this is resolved."
The counts upon which this message is based are daily written by System_MonitorTables job into the Monitor Tree (Database > Tables > Sizes > Scheduler > Job)
- NumberOfRows
- RowsDelta
With the default warning threshold settings, a message is displayed if 80% of non-system job definitions do not have a keep clause set and either the maximum number of jobs has been reached (100.000) or the number of new jobs over a period of 24 hours reaches 10.000.
Instructions
Configuration for the warning threshold can be adjusted in Housekeeping Dashboard > Global Configuration
